A Mountain's Invitation

From the summit of Grizzly Peak, Mount Jefferson rises above the surrounding forests, its snow-covered ridges breaking through drifting clouds. One of Oregon's most rugged and revered volcanoes, Jefferson has long inspired climbers, photographers, and adventurers with its wild beauty and remote presence.

When this photograph was taken, it was simply another unforgettable mountain view. At the time, Christian had no idea she would stand on that very summit just one year later. Looking back, this image became more than a landscape—it became the first chapter of an adventure that had yet to unfold.
