Autumns Canopy

Timothy Lake has long been one of our favorite places to escape into Oregon's forests. On this autumn afternoon, the trail invited us to slow down—not to admire the lake or distant mountains, but simply to pause beneath the trees. As sunlight filtered through the fiery canopy, it became a reminder that some of nature's most beautiful moments are found by looking in the opposite direction of where everyone else is.
