Natures Window over Smith Rock

Some places become part of our story long before we realize it.

Captured along the trail climbing toward Eagle's Nest above Smith Rock, this ancient juniper frames the high desert much as it has for centuries. Beyond its weathered branches, the Cascade peaks rise above the valley, while the winding trails below have welcomed countless adventurers.

For us, Smith Rock is more than an extraordinary landscape. It is where our story began—where we first met in person and where countless memories have grown ever since. This photograph is a reminder that sometimes the places we explore become part of who we are.
